After the arrival of Narendra Modi government in the year 2014 many technological, social and environmental advancements are seen in the country but the sector of business development has always been controversial under the Modi Government, So let's discuss the benefits and losses caused to the business under his rule.
Ease of Doing Business
If we look at Ease of doing business rank declared by the world bank India is at 77th rank out of 190 as of 2018 in the year 2017 we were at 100th position. So, we can see that we are improving, this ranking process includes several factors like:-
1. Construction permits
2. Getting electricity
3. Paying taxes
4. Getting credit for business and many more...
But still many traditional businessmen like the famous chaiwala, kachoriwala of your city are against him the question is Why?
After the arrival of GST(Goods and services tax), many taxation processes have been simplified but due to this simplified process prices of many goods and services went up and profit that a businessman used to earn on his goods and services decreased this led to falling of our GDP growth according to sources India's GDP has fallen by 1.7% by the year 2019. So economically Modi government gets a score of 1/5 and if we are talking of jobs in UP there we 92000 applicants for 62 peon jobs. We can clearly see that the Modi government many policies against the business.
